Let’s get real. There’s nothing more colorful than the beauty that is… les macarons.
You can’t begin to know how excited I was when I found out my friend went to Paris and brought me back a pasalubong (gift/souvenir in Tagalog) from, of all places, Ladurée! I’ve gone on about Ladurée before, like after I returned from multiple stops at the maison in New York. (Yes, I’ll be triumphantly returning this July, as well.)
What I loved most are that there are flavors I couldn’t find in New York, like mint (the blue macaron) and chocolate yuzu (the yellow macaron with a brown filling). It was “très bien!”
Either way, merci mille fois, my friend, for bringing me back such a colorful (and delicious) gift!
Yummy! 🙂
Oooh, they do look delicious !
They were delicious! While I still think Ladurée is the best, I also really liked ‘Lette in Little Tokyo, LA! I might order there sometime soon to get my fix in, haha!
Great submission for the challenge! The colors are so vibrant!
Thanks! I love macarons precisely for their vibrancy! (Okay, and the flavors. 😉 )
Tres jolie!! Bien fait – look good enough to eat!
Merci! 😀
